Fraternal Greetings and Salutations, My Brothers!

I hope you all had a Happy Easter. On March 3, we had our official visit by the District Deputy Grand Master

R:.W:.Burton G. Brim and his District 17 Committeemen. We had a good turnout and showed them how three Brothers can give

back their Master Masons Catechism. On March 15, we had a spaghetti & meatball dinner at the Lodge for M:.W:.Robert P. Harry

Jr., Grand Master of Masons in Florida. As the usual custom of OBL80, he was presented with a “Silver Belly” Stetson hat. It was

an enjoyable evening which was rounded off with an excellent presentation by Mrs. Judy Junecko on “The Holocaust &

Freemasonry.” I would like to thank Bro. Mitchell Lokken, and all the kitchen crew, for their help in preparing and serving the

food. I know the event was organized at short notice, but it was the only available date left in the Grand Master's calendar for him

to attend before his year in office comes to an end. MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW FOR THE STEAK DINNER!! We have

already agreed a date for the incoming Grand Master R:.W:.Joe Fleites, as October 18, so please keep this date free..

On April 19, the Second Annual Charity Ride for the Masonic Home will take place from OBL80. A donation of $20.00

per rider/passenger gets you a first annual ride collectors pin and a free lunch when you get there. Please contact W:.Johnny Brock

on 321-624-2682 for more details, I have received a request from Lorraine Patria, the wife of Barton Patria a Past Master from

Winter Garden Lodge No.165, who wants to speak to the ladies after our dinner whilst we are in one of our meetings. She has

joined a company called Tomboy Tools which sells building tools designed for women. A portion of any proceeds from sales goes

to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Can I receive some feedback from the ladies to see if any interest is there

enough for inviting her, we would like a good turn out, also, please do not forget GIVE KIDS THE WORLD on Saturday April

26th. Fraternally in the Brotherhood, WM Brian Shaw
